Data Deletion

Sign in to Recapo, open Dashboard > Publishing Calendar > Social accounts, find the YouTube, TikTok, Facebook Page or Instagram account, and select Disconnect. Recapo will stop using the connection, remove the active credentials from its production systems and block unpublished schedules for that connection.

You can also revoke Recapo from the connected-app or security settings of Google/YouTube, TikTok, Facebook or Instagram. When a supported platform notifies Recapo of deauthorization, Recapo validates the platform-signed request and disables the matching connection.

Email [email protected] from the address associated with your Recapo account. Use the subject “Data Deletion Request” and identify the Recapo account and connected platform you want deleted. Do not send passwords, OAuth tokens or platform secrets.

We may ask you to verify control of the Recapo account before deleting data. After verification, we delete or de-identify the requested account and connected-platform data unless a limited record must be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling or accounting.

• Active OAuth access and refresh tokens for the requested connection.
• Connected-account identifiers, display names, profile images and granted-permission records held by Recapo.
• Unpublished schedules that still depend on the deleted connection.
• Other personal data within the verified request, subject to lawful retention requirements.

Deleting data from Recapo does not delete videos or posts already published on a third-party platform. Delete published content using that platform's own controls. Encrypted backup copies may remain until they are overwritten under the normal backup-retention cycle and are not used for operational publishing.

Facebook and Instagram may send Recapo a signed data-deletion request when you remove the app or request deletion through Meta. Recapo validates the signature, deletes the matching credentials and connected-account data, and returns a confirmation code with a status URL. The status record does not retain the platform user identifier.
